Through our network of agents and contracts, each candidate has a personalized screen containing information relating to their specializations such as occupation, technical skill set, education and list of past and current employers.

This has allowed us to be extremely responsive to our client’s demands and has allowed us to match candidates with clients at a speed and accuracy.

Candidate Screening Process

General: “Onyx” conducts extensive screening and testing practices with our direct candidates. Screening and testing enables us to better serve our clients by providing a detailed profile of each of our candidates along with quantitative measures of their skills. By verifying and evaluating an individual, we are able to provide our clients with the most qualified professionals to the required position.

Screening: Candidates that learn about us through our various recruiting network are pre-screened first by one of our recruiters based in Male’ over the phone. This interview is conducted to determine if they possess the required skills and experience necessary to meet the needs of our clients.

Selection: Through the interview with the candidate we determine the ability, education, and skill set that is required to considered and evaluated. From then on we approach or inform the client a candidate has been found suitable for the position.

Employment Law Compliance: Upon confirmation by the client, “Onyx” will process all the legal forms and payments for the candidate’s arrival to the country. This process will be done through a transparent open line of day to day progress updates.

Upon arrival of the candidate “Onyx” will carry out an orientation and a full spectrum of employment procedures that are essential policies required as per Maldivian Government Authorities.
